The sensational research results have just been published. They say that the map which can be found on a mysterious stone was not made by human hand, but by means of a machine.

The map was created 120 million years ago! A stone block, found in 1999, was 1.5 metre high, 1 metre wide and 16 centimetres thick. After initial works which included inversion and cleaning of the stone, the researchers got down to examining the stone. It turned out that the rock is covered with writing of unknown origin and that there is a detailed map on it. The stone was made of three layers – first one, the thickest, made of dolomite, was the basis, the second one, the middle one, was made of diopside, and the relief with the map was found on its surface. The third part, made of porcelain, was supposed to serve as a protection of the map. The plan was made at 1:100 000 scale. This incredibly detailed picture showed the regions of the Ural and the Belaya and the Ufimka rivers.

Recently published results of another research proved previous hypotheses which suggested the way of making the drawings. Can the stone found in Ufa be a part of a bigger whole? This hypothesis is proved by 17th- and 18th-century pieces of writing which say that many years earlier researchers managed to find parts of mysterious slabs with a carved text.
