The organisers of the BUDMA International Construction and Architecture Fair carried out a detailed survey among the visitors who visited the fair not only this year but also in previous years. Among several questions about the offer, programme, and many other fair-related things, there was also a question about the reasons for their absence (in case of people who did not decide to come to the fair). As many as 69% of respondents (mainly contracting companies and building experts) said that March was not the best time for them and they would like the fair to be held earlier. They said that it would allow them to visit stands before the season of renovation works starts. Another thing was that they could familiarise themselves with the offer of exhibitors who in this time present new solutions (even before they officially start selling them). Taking it all into consideration, the organisers of BUDMA decided to fit the date of the fair to the main target group of BUDMA and, consequently, the fair will start earlier next year.
