Marmomacc, the International Exhibition of Stone, Design & Technologies scheduled at VeronaFiere next 4-7 October, confirms its status as world leader in the natural stone sector, with presentations of all types of natural stone, the latest innovative processing technologies and avant-garde applications for interiors and exteriors.
The exhibition will host 1510 exhibitors from more than 50 countries, of which half international, over a net area in excess of 76 thousand square metres. More than 65 thousand operators are expected, representing more than 110 international countries. For the first time, moreover, in 2007, Verona will welcome exhibitors from Japan as well as Cyprus, Albania and Sierra Leone.

BSI CONVENTION - BUILDING STONE INSTITUTE OF USA
5 October, 10.30/13.30, Bellini Hall: the BSI Convention - Building Stone Institute of USA - for the first time, this important US Institute has decided to organise in Verona its annual convention with attendance by 45 members.

Marmomacc Meets Design - The lightness of Marble - Meeting between ten designers and ten companies exploring the design and construction potential of stone materials Stone Puglia in collaboration with Puglia Region. A selection of the most significant works blending tradition and innovation.
PRESENTATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL STONE ARCHITECTURE AWARD
The Official Ceremony announcing the winners of the International Stone Architecture Award and the Presentation of the "Natural Seducción de la Piedra" Exhibition will take place at Castelvecchio Museum in Verona on Saturday 6 October at 10.00 a.m. Prior booking is required while places are available.
STONES IN VERONA
Strolls around the city of Verona. immediately highlight limestones of various colours, especially Verona Red, Broccato Red, Coral Pink, Verona Yellow and Verdello, as well as the famous Chiampo stone (very popular in the late Baroque and modern period) and soft "Colli Berici" stones.
