Stone companies Granex from Strzegom and Kawo from Nowa Wieś Grodziska will represent Poland at the conservation fair Denkmal in November in Leipzig.
Poland is the national partner of the 2010 edition of the European Trade Fair for Conservation, Restoration and Old Building Renovation. In 2010, the German-Polish cooperation in the field of heritage conservation celebrates its 40th anniversary. Among the Polish exhibitors there are two stone companies: Granex and Kawo. Since 2001 Granex company has been dealing with the production and trade of construction elements and small architecture with the use of natural stone. For many years the company has been operating on the German and Austrian markets and it participated in a lot of important construction projects there. Kawo company was established in 2002 in Nowa Wieś Grodziska. Since it appeared on the market it has been dealing with sandstone processing.
Denkmal fair will be held on 18-20 November. There is going to be a Polish Day during which the conference dedicated to the Polish conservation and renovation will be organised.
