From Friday, 19 March, to Sunday, 21 March, Czocha Castle in Leśna (Lubań district) hosted the 13th General Meeting of the Employers Association of Stone Industry. Due to the 10th anniversary of the association, the president, Stanisław Sitarz, on behalf of the whole board, handed special diplomas to the owners and presidents of the companies which have been the members of the association since it was established.
The diplomas included thanks for active participation in the association and for contributing to the integration of Polish stonemasons. After Bożena Modlińska died and her mandate expired, Włodzimierz Ratajczak from Wrimar company has been chosen for the position of the member of the board. It has been agreed that the next stone congress will take place on 3 5 September 2010 during Dni Kamienia (The Days of Stone) in Strzegom. Among special guests there were Zenon Kiszkiel the president of the Association of the Stonemasons from Strzegom Region and Artur Zych, the head of Lwówek district.
