TEN YEARS OF MAGEMAR POLSKA

The Polish branch of the Belgian tycoon in the field of sea transport is 10 years old now. Due to this occasion, on 25th of September the company celebrated its 10th anniversary in the Szczecin harbour where the headquarters of the company are based. There were 300 guests from the whole world participating in the meeting. Among them, there were quite many Polish stonemasons, who have been using the services of Magemar for years. The meeting began with the cruise around the Szczecin harbour.

During the cruise, the guests had a chance to see the future headquarters of the company – an old ship called THPV Bembridge from 1938, which was transported from Great Britain and is currently being carefully restored. After the cruise the guests holding glasses of wine in their hands saw a presentation reminiscing 10 years of the company’s existence. After a short speech made by the Magemar directors the party with live music (sea shanties) and perfect food started.
Magemar Polska managed by Rafał Zahorski is a company which is a part of the logistic group that includes Magemar, Dongemar, Magetra i CBT-Magemon. The group started to exist in 1930s when Magemon began organizing transshipment of mass goods in Liege, which is the largest river harbour in Belgium.
In Poland the company started with shipping. Today it deals with everything which is connected with sea transport. Magemar mainly focuses on transport and shipping of blocks which are brought to Szczecin from the whole world. The company is also known for such unusual actions as installing Internet cameras in Szczecin harbour. Rafał Zachorski’s activities are known to all real enthusiasts of Szczecin.
