The following representatives of Polish stone companies were invited by the organisers to take part in Carrara Marmotec 2010 fair CarraraFiere: Ryszard and Piotr Klementowicz from Cracow-based Kamico company and Dawid Swatkowski and Katarzyna Kiertowicz from MSG Granit company from Kolonia Zabłudów. The Italian Institute of Foreign Trade represented by Ryszard Paszkowski was the Polish coordinator who flew with Polish stonemasons to Italy.

Severe winter until March, then the Smolensk tragedy, next two floods and also the recession which has started to affect stonemasons this year. All these things are not good for stone industry. It is hard to invest, make strategic decisions, and there are also fewer and fewer customers. Is there any hope to bounce back this year?
