STONE STATUE OF RAMSES THE GREAT FOUND IN CAIRO
This huge monument made of sandstone has been discovered in the slum of Cairo, under the deep layer of mud and ground. The bust, lower parts of the head, the crown – the remains of this ancient statue prove that the sculpture was nearly 8 metres high.
