Foamed polystyrene or a foil instead of a concrete slab this is a negligence of stone companies, says the cemetery administrator.
Gazeta Wrocławska has recently written about the blameworthy stone practises in the cemetery in Kłodzko. According to the representative of Marpol company, which has been administering the cemetery for several months, many tombstones have not been properly protected.
For example, the so-called burial cellars, according to the rules, should be tightly closed by means of concrete slabs, upon which the tombs are later set. But in many cases stone companies put foil or a foamed polystyrene instead of a tight slab. Marpol has brought into light at least 10 such cases.
Stone companies, however, are not responsible for this. The cemetery administrator is in charge of the cemetery. Among the discovered bad practices there are, among others, badly protected tombs, burying the dead in existing earth tombs before 20 years have passed, sometimes even 3 or 4 years after the funeral.
