Kampol, a Pol-Aqua capital group company, received a licence from the Marschall Office for granite extraction from Strzegom based Strzegom-Artur deposit. The licence is valid until 12 March 2059. The list of industrial resources of granite deposit in C1 category is 25 740 876 tons - we can read in the announcement Pol-Aqua published on its website. Kampol Ltd. is going to use the extracted granite to produce elements, aggregates and crushed stones and is planning to launch the deposit exploitation immediately. Initially, they are planning to launch aggregates production.
Kampol Ltd. was established in the mid 2006 in order to make investments concerning the acquisition of the deposits of construction materials and raw minerals such as aggregates, sand deposits, gravel and to create a necessary infrastructure to exploit them as well as to produce different stone elements (cobblestone, kerbs, facing slabs). The company has its headquarters in Opole.
As Marek Stefanski, the chairman of the Board of Pol-Aqua Engineering Company, which is also the owner of Kampol Ltd., says the deposits will not only cover the demand of the company for the materials used in the road industry, but they will also enable the production and sale of finished goods.
