One year after the opening of the new warehouse in Katowice (Al. Korfantego 191) RR Granity company organised the opening days once again. On Saturday and Sunday (19 and 20 March) the customers had an opportunity to see a huge selection of slabs in different sizes. - We were pleased with the fact that the assortment of slabs was so attractive for the stone construction specialists. They complained a lot because of the severe winter and we lowered our prices as soon as the spring came. Our individual invitations were also accepted by individual customers, says Agnieszka Jasinowska, sales and marketing specialist from the Strzegom headquarters of the company.
A Vocational School in Zielona Góra started the recruitment for the class of the technician of decorative arts in the profession of decorative stonemasonry. This is what the market requires from us, says the management of the school in Zielona Góra. According to the employers, there is a lack of professionals well qualified to do conservation and repair works in old and precious buildings. The decorative stonemasonry class is to teach young people, among others, how to copy and restore decorations, stone architectural details, sculptures and bas-reliefs.
Albin Schäfczuk,who was the head of export in German company Juma Natursteinwerke KG for many years, retired after 40 years of work. Thanks to the active work of Juma company in Poland, Mr. Schäfczuk is also well known to stonemasons in Poland among whom he has many friends.
