MARBLE INTERIORS OF THE NEW WORLD TRADE CENTER 4

world trade centerThe new skyscraper that is a part of the complex currently being built in the Ground Zero in New York was officially opened in mid November. Other skyscrapers will have been finished within coming years.

In 2015 they are planning to open the Transportation Hub where 11 subway lines and suburban rail to New Jersey meet each other. Futuristic subway station will be covered with white marble, just like the interiors of the glass building of World Trade Center 4. The modern project of the building was made by a Japanese architect Fumihiko Maki. Raising this 72 storey high and 214,000 square metres large skyscraper cost 2 billion dollars. Elegant lobby was covered with marble and a part of walls inside the building with black polished granite. The new complex of the World Trade Center is being built on the site where twin towers were destroyed on 11 September 2001. The complex will include the following towers: Freedom Tower 200, Greenwich Street  as well as WTC3, WTC4 and WTC5.
