In the series of trainings devoted to professional issues, MARMUR Dulemba company from Kobielice near Pszczyna hosted in mid June a training devoted to some selected,
local problems regarding designing architecture with the use of natural stone outside and inside large buildings. Experts, who were invited by the stone company, presented issues related to applying stone in interior design. They concentrated on the selection of materials and technology of assembly and fixing. The lectures were delivered by experts who represent the Silesian District Chamber of Architects of the Republic of Poland in cooperation with the Association of Polish Architects (SARP) Katowice Branch (Mr. Mikołaj Machulik, Mr. Adam Skrzypczyk, Mr. Sławomir Mazurek and Mr. Dariusz Kotowski).
Architects shared their experience with other professionals. They took part in designing ventilated facades with their visible surfaces made of natural stone. Apart from theoretical issues, there were also presentations of companies whose main activities are related to the subject of the training. The first one specialises in building chemistry and is the quality leader in this branch. We are speaking about Ardex company which offers a wide range of products that can be applied at every stage of a building project. They are characterised by a unique reliability. The other company, Armax, provides comprehensive stone building services.
The meeting was attended by about 30 people. There were also behind-the-scenes discussions between presentations and shows. The organiser offered its visitors a delicious meal which included specialties of Silesian cuisine.
